We loved our little get away - and Death Valley National Park is certainly a very interesting place to visit.Highlights of the trip:
- Coyotes - I am normally not a fan of coyotes, given my farm-girl roots, but the coyotes in Death Valley sang all night and I loved it.
- We got to spend a day with Trev's sister and her husband
- Crazy interesting scenery - yes Ivie is eating a piece of rock salt in this picture. No parenting judgments.
- WILD salt flats and fields
- Hiking with my family
- Reading out loud by the camp-fire at night (we read Fareinheit 451 on this trip)
- Visiting the lowest point in the country
- Ivie had her first CAMPING BATH

Ivie is SO big! You all look great, and while I don't enjoy camping, you guys almost make it look appealing! So fun!
Cute pictures! I'm glad you guys got away and had some down time. Everyone needs that. Ivie is precious.
So glad you guys had a good time - I'm with Shalee, I'm not a huge camping fan (unless there's a nice camp trailer involved...) but that's some crazy scenery in those pics. Ivie is SO cute and I can't believe how big she is. I saw your in-laws at Beehive's annual meeting last night and thought of you guys!
I've loved hearing about all of these adventures. It makes me seriously want to stop and spend a few days in Death Valley myself. And--I've got to say, I think that little Ivie is one of the most adorable little faces I've set eyes on. Those little eyes are to die for!
